Texas and Chihuahua

Texas and Coahuila

Located in upper northeastern Mexico, Tamaulipas serves as a bridge between Mexico's tropics and the plains of North America. Visitors can soak in the sun on the golden beaches of Tamaulipas, shop in the border cities defined by the Rio Bravo (known as the Rio Grande in Texas) or explore intriguing archeological ruins in the mountains. Tamaulipas shares 370 km (100 miles) of its border with Texas and welcomes visitors as they cross the threshold to Mexico.
