Today, “Fun Central,” Arlington is well-known for fun family activities. City is home to some of Texas’ best-known family fun spots like Six Flags Over Texas, Hurricane Harbor, and Rangers Ballpark In Arlington, home of the Texas Rangers. In addition, later this year Fun Central will become home to the Dallas Cowboys (Construction on a new stadium began in 2006 and the first games will be played in late summer of 2009.).

For golf enthusiasts, Tierra Verde is a beautiful municipally owned course that’s been carved from 250 acres of secluded terrain. Pro shop, outdoor pavilion and full-service restaurant included. Call 817/573-1300 for more information.

Travel to Arlington is easy, as it’s centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth.
