Feel of the Old West recaptured along Exchange Ave. on city’s North Side. Renovated Western-style stores and restaurants front traditional boardwalks.

The White Elephant Saloon features live country music nightly, and it is the site of the “Last Great Gunfight of the Old West” re-enactment every Feb. At 106 E. Exchange Ave. 817/624-1887.

Stockyards Station, a 165,000-sq.-ft. market center includes stop for the Grapevine Vintage Railroad and Western festival market in the renovated hog and sheep pens.
